International Application Requirements

Financial Requirements for International Applicants

Students on an F-1 visa are only allowed limited employment while attending Rhema Bible Training College, but the employment has to be with Rhema Bible Training College, and cannot exceed 20 hours per week. However, being enrolled at RBTC as a student does not guarantee that you will be employed by RBTC.

For a single person, the required amount is $16,000. For a married couple (one spouse attending school), the amount is $20,000 with an additional $2,000 for each dependent child in the family. This is a requirement. There are no exceptions.

Green Cards

You are welcome to apply with a green card but your card must not expire before the end of your schooling. You will need to include a copy of this card both front and back with your application.

Do you have scholarships for international students?

RBTC does not offer scholarships or financial aid to students or applicants.

When is the deadline to apply for Rhema?

July 1st is the deadline for Fall enrollment and November 1 is the deadline for Spring enrollment for all international applications to be received by our office due to the time required to process them and work with the U.S. Immigration Department.

How do I obtain an international application?

Applying for RBTC is a two-part process for international students.

  1. Complete the online application for admission. You will be required to pay an application fee of $60 USD to complete the online application.
  2. Download the International Student Admission Packet which contains instructions, financial requirements and required documents. These forms must be completed and originals mailed to:

Do you have interpreters for each class?

Rhema classes in the United States are only taught in English, therefore it is necessary that you are able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English. We do not offer any type of English prep classes for international students. If you are not confident in your present proficiency level, we encourage you to pursue obtaining a higher skill level before applying.
